Does anyone know of a cute grooms cake?

my groom love the new york yankees! He wants yankees themed reception, i however dont want a baseball wedding cake. so i thought he could have a cake of the sort. there is a problem with this because i cant find any cute cakes he would like. Our wedding colors are Pink and Silver, we are accenting with Navy. Our reception will be mostly Silver and grey with some pink here and there. I also need some imput on a new york yankee themed reception!????? Thanks and please dont complain about my colors it seems like iv received alot of that.

First off, I think your colors are going to look beautiful! It doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks about them so long as you and your fiancee like them, that’s all that matters.

As for the cakes, just have two: your big fancy, girly cake and a baseball cake for him. His groom’s cake doesn’t have to be anything more than a single layer cake and could be made into something resembling baseball. A simple google image search produced a number of cute cakes.

Just because your wedding has the baseball theme, that does not mean that every last detail has to pertain to the Yankees. That’s great that he loves them so much, but come on, it’s your special day too and unless you’re crazy in love with the Yankees as well you have the right to limit the theme.

If you can’t have 2 cakes, you could always have a custom cake topper made with the bride and groom wearing Yankees uniforms. That way, it still fits your theme and you don’t have to worry about having baseballs covering your cake instead of flowers.
