1 – England v Scotland ( its the oldest football match on earth and we havent played those jock b*stards for a while )
2 – The Basque Derby in Spain. Not sure but its Atl. Bilbao and Seville i think
3 – The Old Firm Rangers and Celtic. My mates a Celtic fan and turns evil when this match is on
4 – Boca v River Plate. Have you seen the violence
5 – Manchester United ( my team ) v Liverpool ( dirty dirty scousers ) Alot of violence in this game
6 – Burnley v Blackburn Rovers. These guys rarely play but by god they hate each other. Burnley fans have a Suicide Squad. Mental stuff. I live near Burnley and have seen some cracking riots with the dingles
7 – AC Milan v Inter Milan, Roma v Lazio and Genoa v Sampdoria. One word MAD!
8 – Barcalona v Real Madrid. Theres real hate there and its not just football. Political over the years
9 – England v Germany/ England v Argentina. Massive games and have sparked many a riot in its time
10 – Poland v Germany. The poles have a score to settle after WW2 they believe and cause violence when ever they meet.
I know i have put more than one for some but its because they are equal in my eyes. Football is an amazing sport and can conjure up hate aswell as love just because of its worldwide appeal. Its started and solved wars in the past and has more influence than politics on many occasions.
Colorado Rapids Tickets – Rapids Solidify Roster With Old And New Stars
The 2010 Major League Soccer season is inching closer, and to get ready, teams across the country are training for their first games of the season. For the Colorado Rapids, that first game happens on March 26 against Chivas USA in California. One of the ways the Rapids have been preparing is by making sure their roster is as star-studded as possible. That includes signing current stars, bringing in international players and making trades with other teams. Their offseason success means that Colorado Rapids tickets will be top sellers, and fans can find theirs at StubHub.com.
Nearly every Colorado Rapids fan holds forward Conor Casey as one of the favorite players on the team, even though he has only been playing with the team since 2007. The fan loyalty lies behind the fact that Casey is actually a hometown player, as his alma mater is Denver South High School. During the offseason, the Rapids signed Casey to a three-year contract. According to MLSNet.com, Casey said of his new contract, “I am looking forward to the coming years, as we continue to build something special. Having played in my hometown the last several seasons and now knowing I’m going to be staying here playing for my home club is a great feeling.”
Casey has played overseas along with his career in the MLS. He has also been a major contributor to the U.S. Men’s National Team, meaning he could make the final cut for the upcoming World Cup team. Last season, Casey showed his value for the team by setting a single season scoring record for the Rapids by tallying 16 goals. That total put him second in the league.
The Rapids also looked outside the U.S. to bring in new talent and signed defender/midfielder Danny Earls and defender Oscar Murillo. Earls hails from Dublin, Ireland and played for the USL-1 Rochester Rhinos for the past two years. Prior to that, he was also with the Aston Villa Reserve team in the English Premier League. He has also played for his country’s U15, U16, U18 and U19 national teams.
Colombian Oscar Murillo has quite the resume as well. Although only 21 years old, he has already played professionally in his home country with Centauros Vllavicencio in the Colombian Second Division. He also has a history in the soccer-crazed country of Argentina. He played with the Boca Juniors Youth Academy and the Argentine Primera Division’s Club Atlético Lanús. Murillo has also earned caps with various Colombian youth national teams.
Two more new names will be starting with the Rapids thanks to a trade with the New England Revolution. In exchange for goalkeeper Preston Burpo, defender Cory Gibbs, allocation money and a SuperDraft pick, the Rapids received midfielders Jeff Larentowicz and Wells Thompson. Last season, Larentowicz started 28 matches, tallying one goal and two assists. He had been with the Revolution since 2005. Thompson also had one goal and two assists, playing in 25 regular season games and starting 17 of them. After playing in the USL Premier Development League, Wells started in the MLS with the Revolution in 2007.
